The Missouri men's golf team finished its fall season by placing seventh Tuesday at the Wolverine Invitational in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla.
Missouri had a three-round total of 912. Michigan won the tournament by 10 strokes at 872.
For the fourth straight tournament, junior Peter Malnati turned in the lowest individual total for the Tigers. He fired an even-par 72 on the final day to bring his tournament total to 224. Freshman William Harrold finished in a tie for 29th with a 229 and junior Kyle Marcolla finished in a tie for 32nd with a 230.
Although the Tigers had a rough start to the season, their play improved and was highlighted by a third-place finish in the Sycuan Collegiate Invitational in San Diego, Calif.
The Tigers will begin their spring season on Feb. 17 and 18 with the GADO-North Texas Classic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
STEPHENS BASKETBALL: The Stars earned their first win of the season Tuesday with a 72-52 victory at St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
