COLUMBIA — The Missouri women’s soccer team lost 4-1 to No. 2-ranked Texas A&M on Friday in the semifinals of the Big 12 Conference Tournament in San Antonio.

Tigers freshman forward Alysha Bonnick scored the first goal of the game in the 15th minute on a header.
Texas A&M (17-2-2) tied it less than 10 minutes later, however, then knocked in goals in the, 39th, 54th and 67th minutes.

The loss puts the No. 22-ranked Tigers at 13-7-0 heading into selections for this season’s NCAA Tournament. The NCAA Selection Show is set to be broadcast live at 7 p.m. Monday on ESPNews.

"We fought hard," Tigers coach Bryan Blitz said in a release. "We thought our team played well . . . But now we are moving on. We are looking forward to be in the NCAA Tournament, and that's where our focus is at this point."
