Trail, parks getting new restrooms

Monday, November 12, 2007 | 3:10 p.m. CST

Five new prefabricated restrooms will be installed Friday at some of Columbia’s recreational facilities. The MKT trail access points on Forum and Scott boulevards will close starting at 7 p.m. Thursday to allow cranes and crews space to put in the restrooms. Trail access points will reopen as quickly as possible on Friday.

Restrooms will also be placed at Kiwanis Park, Fairview Park and Lake of the Woods Golf Course. Park and golf users may not have full access during installment but facilities will remain open.
