Columbia College men's basketball wins again

The Columbia College men’s basketball won its second game in as many days at the Warrior Classic, defeating the host team, Sterling College, 63-51 Saturday night in Sterling, Kansas.

The Cougars shot 43 percent from the field, including 6-of-10 from behind the three-point line.

Senior Trae Hall led the Cougars in scoring with 14 points and junior Jason Ellis had 13 points. Senior Mikel Fields was one point shy of a double-double, finishing the game with nine points and 10 rebounds.

Columbia College, now 4-1 on the season, will next play at Lindenwood University at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
