Man shot multiple times at northeast Columbia home

COLUMBIA — A 36-year-old man was shot multiple times at his northeast Columbia home in the Godas subdivision Friday night.

Boone County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a disturbance at about 6:56 p.m. Friday at a home in the 5300 block of East Trikalla Drive.

The victim told police he was shot by two men while at his home. The victim shot back at the suspects, but it is unknown if either were hit.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of multiple bullet wounds, but the injuries were not life threatening.
