Midwest Petroleum robbed early Monday

COLUMBIA — Midwest Petroleum was robbed early Monday by two men with a small handgun and a Taser, Columbia police said.

Police said two men entered the convenience store at 2712 Paris Road about 1:08 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk while displaying the handgun and Taser. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money and was uninjured.

The two suspects were last seen running southeast from the store toward Mexico Gravel Road.

Police are looking for two males, both 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds.

The suspect who displayed the handgun was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a dark bandanna over his face.

The second suspect, who displayed a Taser, was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a gray ninja-type mask over his face.
