Football watch party to be held at Mizzou Arena

COLUMBIA — The MU athletics department, along with KOMU/Channel 8 and KFRU/1400 AM, will host a free watch party at Mizzou Arena for the Big 12 Championship game Saturday.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. kickoff. The game will be broadcast live on the arena’s video board and concessions will be sold. Everyone is invited.

Andrew Grinch, director of marketing at the athletics department, said he expects about 1,000 to 2,000 people to attend.
“The watch party will provide a unique option for people to come and watch the game with other Mizzou fans,” Grinch said.
