Rucker, Maclin head list of five Missouri football All-Americans

For the first time in Missouri football history, two Tigers were named first-team AP All-Americans on Tuesday.

Tight end Martin Rucker and freshman Jeremy Maclin, named to the team as a return specialist, were two of eight Big 12 players named to the first team. The Big 12 had the most players on the first team, followed by the SEC and Big 10 with four players each.

Chase Daniel and safety William Moore were named to the second team. Daniel, who was fourth in Heisman voting, once again finished behind Tim Tebow. The sophomore Heisman winner was named to the first team.

Senior center Adam Spieker was named a third-team All-American, bringing the number of Missouri players on the teams to five.
