Thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Dallas to enjoy the Comerica Bank New Year’s Parade, Monday afternoon, Dec. 31, 2007. The parade is one of many events preceding Tuesday's Cotton Bowl. Parade participants included 24 high school bands from across the country, along with the MU and Arkansas bands and spirit squads. Former Dallas Cowboy Emmitt Smith served as the parade's grand marshal.
