What Kercy Main lacks in size he makes up for in his passion and talent for music.
At age 7, Kercy already dabbles with a variety of instruments such as the piano, electric guitar and violin. When his mother, Kelly Main, began working for the Crespi family as a certified nursing assistant five years ago, Kercy was taken under the wing of Eduardo Crespi, who bought Kercy his first keyboard when he was only 3.

“Kercy was 2 when they showed up,” Crespi said, “so Kercy grew up with us.”
Crespi and Kercy play together any chance they can. Yet, with school they only get to see each other once or twice a week.
“He thinks of him like almost his dad,” Kelly Main said, who explained that Kercy’s real father is not a regular part of the family.
Currently, Kercy takes piano lessons once a week and practices most days at home on the piano Crespi bought him after the keyboard.
When he gets bored with the practice tunes, Kercy likes to make up his own, some of which get incorporated in the band he and Crespi have jokingly called “Shark Bite.”
“I’m going to make sure he’ll have a good education,” Crespi said.
No matter what Kercy and his mother decide to do, they’ll always have his support, Crespi said.
