Q: Are you 100 percent healthy?
A: Well, not quite. I’m still trying to get over my foot injury. It’s getting a lot better, but I’ve still got to take some more time with it.
Q: What’s been the secret to the past two games - your two highest-scoring games with 18 against Marshall and 14 against Delaware State?
A: (laughing) Well, I don’t really know. A bunch of my family was there to watch, and it was a lot of fun. There were a lot of people having fun out there, that’s all it was.
Q: How do you judge the team’s nonconference performance?
A: We could have done a lot better. We lost some close games that we should’ve won. We’re all definitely ready for conference play. We want to go out there and redeem ourselves.
Q: What are you looking for in Big 12 play, both personally and for the team?
A: For me, I want - no, I need - to work on my defense. As for the team, we just need to work together and good things will happen.
Q: How did the team spend the long break between the Cavalier Classic and Wednesday’s game against Colorado?
A: Oh, it’s been two-a-days every day. We’ve just been beating ourselves up in practice. We’re ready to go.
