COLUMBIA — The Citizen Oversight Committee Task Force will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Mezzanine Conference Room of the Daniel Boone City Building, 701 E. Broadway.

Mary A. Ratliff, Missouri Conference NAACP president, and Donald Weaver, Columbia Police Officers Association president, are expected to speak to the task force.

The 15-member task force was created last November by the City Council to look into the need for a citizen committee to oversee the Columbia Police Department. This will be the fourth meeting for the task force.
