Cougars men's basketball team prevails again in OT

Columbia College's 76-68 victory Saturday at Illinois-Springfield was their fourth straight American Midwest Conference victory this season and their third won in overtime.

Columbia College, down 29-21 at half, trailed until Trae Hall made a 3-pointer with 26 seconds left in regulation to tie at 62 and force overtime. The Cougars scored the first basket of the extra period for their first lead at 64-62 then stayed ahead the rest of the way.

Hall led the Cougars (16-3, 4-0) with 22 points. Brett Hoskins scored 16, Joe Flanner 13, and Mikel Fields had 10 rebounds.
