COLUMBIA — The MU Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man suspected of using stolen credit cards.

The man used stolen MFA Oil credit cards at different Break Time stores in Columbia and Tipton, said Capt. Brian Weimer. At least four credit cards were used to make over $4,000 in fraudulent purchases, Weimer said. The stolen credit cards have been active since December.

Investigators request that anyone with information call Detective Vernon Gerling at 884-2605 or CrimeStoppers at 875-TIPS.
