The PedNet coalition, a not-for-profit advocacy group for walking and bicycling that works closely with the federally funded GetAbout Columbia project, is seeking applicants for two part-time temporary positions.

Janet Godon, PedNet’s outreach coordinator, said that one opening, a general program assistant position, is funded by money from the $22 million federal Nonmotorized Transportation Pilot Program grant. The other opening, a program assistant position, will be funded by other grants the coalition has received.

The general program assistant would help coordinate the coalition’s Walking School Bus program, where parents lead groups of children to school.
