Police are looking for several suspects in connection with a robbery early Sunday morning.

Two groups of men got into a verbal altercation outside Club Vogue on 912 Business Loop 70 E., said Columbia police Sgt. Lloyd Simons. Several suspects chased two men across Business Loop 70. During the chase, two other suspects approached a 32-year-old man and demanded his wallet. They did not show a weapon, but the victim felt threatened and handed over his wallet, Simons said. One of the suspects then used an object to break the rear window of the victim’s car.

Police responded at about 4:21 a.m. to the scene.

The men did not know each other, but both groups had spent time at the club that night, Simons said.

The suspects fled west on Business Loop 70 in a 2006 Toyota extended cab pick-up truck with California registration 7Y47144. One suspect was described as a male who was 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall, 150 pounds and wearing a white and blue jersey-style shirt and blue jeans. A second suspect was described as a male in his 20s or 30s, who was tall, 160 to 170 pounds, thin, bald and wearing a multi-colored flannel shirt.
