MU softball drops two games in Las Vegas

COLUMBIA — The No. 22 Missouri softball team lost 4-0 to No. 6 UCLA and fell to 3-3 on the season during their opening game of the Louisville Slugger Desert Classic in Las Vegas.

Junior Stacy Delaney pitched a complete game for the Tigers, but allowed seven hits in the loss to fall to 1-2 on the year. The Tigers committed four errors, and all four of the UCLA runs were unearned.

Eight Tigers were left on base.

The Tigers lost their second game of the tournament 4-0 to BYU in the first ever meeting between the two teams.
