NORTHWOODS — Mayors in St. Louis County are among those raising funds to help a Kirkwood official recently wounded at his City Hall.
Mayors Everett Thomas of Northwoods and Clarence King of Beverly Hills were among those seeking donations from the public Saturday. They and other volunteers wanted to collect $4,000 to help Mayor Mike Swoboda and his family. They hoped to send a message of support to Kirkwood.
