Fleeing the cold

A member of the Activity and Recreation Center, 1701 W. Ash, runs on the center's indoor track Wednesday afternoon, when outdoor temperatures fell as low as 10 degrees in Columbia. Attendance at the ARC greatly increases during winter months, according to Joan Smith, ARC administrative supervisor.
