COUNTY CANDIDATES

Here’s a list of the people who have filed their candidacies for various elected offices in Boone County. The positions will be filled in the November general election after party primaries in August.

Southern District Commissioner

Sid Sullivan (D)

Northern District Commissioner

Skip Elkin (D)

Sheriff

Dwayne Carey (D)

Assessor

Tom Schauwecker (D)

Public Administrator

Cathy Richards (D)

Casey Forbis (D)

John D. Sullivan (R)

The positions of county clerk, collector, treasurer, auditor, recorder of deeds and circuit clerk also are up for election, as are positions for party central committees.
