COLUMBIA — Junior Chris Rohr posted yet another school record in the weight throw Friday at the Big 12 Indoor Track Championships in Lincoln, Neb.

Rohr broke his own record twice in the competition: once in his third attempt, 73 feet, 1¾ inches, and then in his final attempt, 73 feet, 6¾ inches. His effort was outdone by Kansas’ Egor Agafonov, who threw a national-best 74 feet, 4½ inches to win the event.

In the heptathlon, Nick Adcock finished the day in second place and is 100 points ahead of his school-record pace.

Senior Elisa Hunt placed second in the women’s weight throw with a score of 66 feet, 7 inches.

After the first day, the Tigers are second in the men’s team standings and sixth in the women’s team standings.
