COLUMBIA — A $1.33 million gift to MU on Wednesday pushed the “For All We Call Mizzou” fundraising fund to more than $900 million.

The campaign includes gifts from a variety of donors including corporations, alumni and students. The goal is to raise $1 billion.

The donation is from RehabCare and will allow the MU School of Health Professions to team up with five Missouri community colleges that have a shortage in physical and occupational therapists.

“The program will be a major source of quality care for people in some under-served areas of the state,” said Rich Oliver, the dean of the school, according to the news release from MU.

“The Modern Workfroce Inititaive” program, which is being developed by the School of Health Professions, will be available to community colleges this fall.
