COLUMBIA — A driver had to be extricated from her vehicle after a two-car collision at the corner of Rollins Street and College Avenue at about 7 p.m. Wednesday.

At 6:57 p.m. firefighters responded to the accident.

A blue Ford Focus was reported to be upside down on the corner of the intersection, the Columbia Fire Department report said.

The driver was a 21-year-old woman who was extricated through the hatchback door. She was taken to University Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The other vehicle involved was a white Toyota. The driver refused medical treatment.

The intersection was blocked off for about an hour to clear the scene.
