The Missouri softball team completed a 5-0 sweep at the University of South Florida’s Under Armour Invitational in Clearwater, Fla., with a 10-4 victory Sunday against the Villanova Wildcats. The Tigers extended their win streak to 12 games.

Despite a 2-0 deficit in the first inning, the Tigers responded with 13 hits, four of which were home runs. Senior Jen Bruck was responsible for two home runs, one of which tied the game in the third inning. Junior Lindsey Ubrun’s home run leading off the bottom of the fourth gave the Tigers the lead.

Missouri concluded the tournament with six players batting better than .300. Ubrun was a tournament standout with a .500 average that included four home runs and seven RBI.

The team has recorded 26 home runs in 26 games this season and looks to extend its winning streak Wednesday with a doubleheader at Wichita State, the only two games that remain before next weekend’s Mizzou Classic.
