Man robs Break Time at gunpoint

COLUMBIA — Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Break Time convenience store at gunpoint early Saturday morning, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At 4:42 a.m., a man robbed the convenience store at 901 U.S. 63 Connector, said Columbia police Sgt. Roger Schlude.

Schlude said the suspect is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was seen wearing a tan ball cap and a black jacket and driving a green two-door car with a sunroof.

No one was injured in the incident. Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip to the CrimeStoppers Web site, 875tips.com, for a possible reward of up to $1,500.
