For the second year in a row, junior Kendra Melnychuck has secured a bid to the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. Her fourth-place finish in 3-meter diving at the NCAA Zone D Championships in Houston on Saturday was good enough to guarantee her a place at the National Championship in Columbus, Ohio next week.
Freshman Abby Zepeda still has a chance to earn a NCAA bid during Sunday’s platform competition at Zones.
