MU women's golfers complete first round of Longhorn Invite

After the opening round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas, Monday, the MU women’s golf team is tied with Oklahoma, Indiana and Iowa State for seventh place.

Missouri is one of 18 competing teams. After the first round, Missouri stands 17 shots behind leader New Mexico and three shots behind fifth-place Notre Dame. Senior Madde Augustsson led the Tigers, shooting a 76 to tie for seventh in the individual standings. The tournament’s second round of play will be held Tuesday, and the final round will be held Wednesday.
