Columbia needs Paul Sturtz on City Council as a representative of the entire First Ward. He will not be a rubber stamp on the council. Sturtz has said that the First Ward includes MU, Stephens College, Columbia College, major bank offices, The District, much of Columbia’s population who are below/above poverty (children and elderly) and many residences both owned and rented. It is also the most racially diverse ward. Sturtz, with David Wilson, founded Ragtag Cinemacafe and True/False Festival, which sold 18,000 tickets this year.
Together they have brought money, people, notoriety and jobs to Columbia. Sturtz will work for clear council process and procedures and for a future Columbia that is sustainable and has the good quality of life that many here desire. He has brought a great deal to the city and will do even more as a council member. Please vote for him.
