COLUMBIA — Four U.S. soldiers died in Iraq on Sunday, bringing the total number of casualties in the war to 4,000.

To mark the event, the Mid-Missouri Fellowship of Reconciliation is holding a memorial vigil to honor the memory of those who have died in the Iraq war.

The vigil will begin at 5:30 Monday in front of the Boone County Courthouse.

The Rev. Bonnie Cassida, a pastor at Bethel Baptist Church, and Zaid Maher, an MU student from Iraq, will speak at the event. There will also be a moment of silence and music by Steve Jacobs.
