Dominant pitching beats Tigers softball team

The Tigers lost 5-1 to seventh-ranked Texas A&M on Saturday in College Station, Texas.
The Aggies’ Megan Gibson was pitching a no-hitter until Amanda Renth hit a single in the fifth inning. Pitcher Jen Bruck scored the only Tigers run on her 11th home run of the season in the seventh, but she also allowed five runs. Missouri fell to 31-9 and to 2-1 in the Big 12 Conference. The Tigers will close the series with the Aggies at noon today.
