COLUMBIA — A six-vehicle accident blocked traffic on Interstate 70 near Providence Road for almost an hour Wednesday morning.

Columbia firefighters, Columbia police and EMS units were dispatched to the accident at 7:18 a.m., according to a news release from the Fire Department.
