COLUMBIA — The Missouri golf team will host a junior golf clinic on at 2 p.m. Sunday at The Club at Old Hawthorne in conjunction with the First Annual UMB Bank-Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate Classic.

This is the first tournament that the men’s golf team has held at Old Hawthorne, and Missouri coach Mark Leroux says he is excited about the junior clinic, which will be lead by Missouri golfers and coaches from visiting colleges.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been to a college golf tournament with a junior clinic connected to it,” Leroux said.

The free clinic is available for youth in eighth grade or younger. Registration forms are available at mutigers.com, and while pre-registration is preferred, it is not required. Participants must also bring their own clubs.
