A walk and a pair of two-out singles in the seventh inning gave Oklahoma a 4-3 victory over the Missouri softball team Sunday in Norman.

The No. 11 Sooners swept the Tigers in the two-game series.

After a two-run home run in the first from Missouri senior Amanda Renth, the Sooners responded with one run in the bottom of the first inning and two in the second, captilazing on two hit batters by Missouri pitcher Stacy Delaney.

Missouri tied the game 3-3 on an RBI single in the third inning from sophomore Julie Silver set up by freshman Rhea Taylor’s stolen base. Delaney kept the Sooners scoreless until she was replaced in the bottom of the seventh inning by sophomore Jana Hainey, who gave up the winning run on an RBI single by Oklahoma first baseman Samantha Ricketts that sent Haley Anderson home from third base.

The Tigers are now 33-12 on the season, but only 2-4 in Big 12 play.
