Sunday night’s graffiti at the entrance to Martinshire Drive is greeted by stiff resistance from the Public Works Department’s Street Division on Monday. From left, James Brown, DeJaun Jordan, Kevin Rice and Ron Sollenberger remove spray paint from the neighborhood wall. Sollenberger said three people stopped to thank the crew for their efforts.

Kevin Rice scrubs diligently with a citrus solution to break through the first layer of graffiti on a Martinshire Drive wall.
