Man pleads guilty to Domino’s robbery
COLUMBIA — A man was sentenced to 12 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on Monday after pleading guilty to first-degree armed robbery of a Domino’s Pizza in September.
Ejhlon Kashif Marks, 23, formerly of 1632 Towne Drive, was sentenced by 13th Circuit Court Judge Jodie Asel to 12 years for first-degree robbery and four years for unlawful use of a weapon after robbing the Domino’s on 1500 I-70 Drive S.W. His sentences are concurrent.
According to court documents, on Sept. 12, Marks grabbed a victim from behind and placed an automatic handgun to the victim’s neck and demanded that the employees give him the money in the cash register. Before leaving on foot, Marks pointed the gun at two employees and stole the money in the register, according to the court documents.
After being identified by the victims, Marks was arrested with some of the stolen money still in his pants pocket, according to court documents.
Marks previously pleaded guilty to first-degree trespassing on Feb. 25, 2004, and was sentenced to 10 days in the Boone County Jail, according to Missouri CaseNet.
Marks was scheduled to go on trial Thursday.
