Tigers soccer team comes from behind to win 3-1

Minnesota led 1-0 at halftime, but the Tigers tied the match when freshman forward Alysha Bonnick scored in the 53rd minute.

The Tigers defeated Minnesota 3-1 in a spring exhibition game Saturday in Kansas City.

Minnesota led 1-0 at halftime, but the Tigers tied the match when freshman forward Alysha Bonnick scored in the 53rd minute. Sophomore forward Michelle Collins gave the Tigers the lead in the 61st minute sending in a rebound of her own shot. Mizzou’s third goal came off a corner kick that no Tigers player touched after it was put in play.

Mizzou’s spring record is now 2-1.
