Police arrest two on suspicion of manufacturing meth

COLUMBIA — A man and woman from Harrisburg were arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine, Boone County Sheriff Sgt. Lance Robbins said.

Ralph V. Beltz, 37, and Susan P. Hibbs, 44, were arrested after the Boone County Sheriff’s Department found a complete meth lab and evidence of past and ongoing production at 15901 Old Number 7, according to a news release.

Beltz and Hibbs were being held at the Boone County Jail as of Wednesday afternoon, and bonds have not been set.
