Shots fired early Wednesday morning

COLUMBIA — Several shots were fired early Wednesday morning in northeast Columbia, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.

No one was injured, according to the news release.

Officers responded at about 12:45 a.m. to the 4900 block of Aztec Boulevard and found a 1988 Oldsmobile and a 1999 Chevy with several bullet holes, according to Capt. Brad Nelson. Officers also located damage to an apartment door, and Nelson said multiple shell casings were found at the scene.

A 23-year-old female and two 31-year-old males were interviewed about the incident, according to the news release.
