On Thursday nights, Generic Nightclub is the best and cheapest place to dance in Columbia. The club caters to those ages 18 and up, and there is no cover before 10 p.m. Combine that with drink specials like $1 wells and you’re set. Generic is located above The Penguin Piano Dueling Piano Bar.
The Blue Fugue, 120 S. Ninth St.
The Blue Fugue is a live music venue that’s open six days a week. For $5 to $8 you can stand, sit or dance to a local band, DJ or rapper. Most nights the venue is open to all ages.
Ernie’s Cafe & Steak House, 1005 E. Walnut St.
The No. 11 breakfast combo is the best deal on a menu of great deals. You get two eggs; bacon, sausage or veggie sausage; hash browns; French toast or a stack of pancakes for $6.72.
Lucy’s Corner Cafe, 522 E. Broadway
According to Lucy, the best deal on the menu is the pancake platter with two large hotcakes, two eggs, hash browns and sausage, bacon or ham for $6.60.
Broadway Diner, 22 S. Fourth St.
The stretch is the most popular deal on the menu. It is a combination of hash browns, chili, cheese, eggs, peppers and onions. A super stretch is $6.50.
Waffle House, 2701 S. Providence Road
The all-star breakfast is huge. A waffle, two eggs, sausage or ham and toast is only $7.15. You can also substitute biscuits and gravy for the waffle.

Get $5 foot-long subs at all Subway locations until the end of April. Subway also offers subs-of-the-day deals.

Get Uprise’s signature sandwiches on a roll instead of bread and a cup of soup for $5.75.

This is a great deal if you carry-out or dine in. A large one-topping pizza is $6.99 and pints of Budweiser products are a buck. Add medium pokie sticks for $3.
