COLUMBIA — A man running on the Stankowski Recreation Complex track at MU was robbed early this morning when three men attacked him.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was running at about 3 a.m. when he was attacked from behind and hit on the right side of his face, according to a news release from the MU Police Department.
The man’s iPod, cell phone, cash and pocket knife were taken.
According to the news release, the victim described one man as wearing a black sweatshirt and another wearing a white sweatshirt. One of the suspects has a cornrow hairstyle, MU police said.
There were no threats made or weapons shown, and the victim did not receive medical attention.
