COLUMBIA — Two gas station clerks were held at gunpoint during an armed robbery at a Fastlane Phillips 66 on Sunday evening.

At 11:09 p.m., a man entered the Fastlane Phillips 66 located on 2116 Paris Road, displayed a handgun, and demanded money, according to a press release from the Columbia Police Department.

After receiving money, the suspect fled the store. Neither clerk was injured during the robbery. The police have not said how much money was taken.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170-190 pounds, and was seen last wearing a yellow plaid shirt, green beanie cap and brown mask.

The investigative unit of the Columbia Police Department will release a surveillance photo of the suspect later today, according to Detective Sgt. Ken Hammond.
