Police seize drugs at south Columbia apartment

COLUMBIA — Police arrested two men Wednesday afternoon after investigators found drugs inside a south Columbia apartment.

Columbia police served a narcotics search warrant at 3:07 p.m. at the apartment, 3902 Buttonwood Drive. Officers found one potted marijuana plant, a small amount of marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia, Columbia police Sgt. Chris Kelley said in a news release.

Ryan R. Fairman, 19, and Darren M. Voight, 20, were arrested on charges of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Fairman faces an additional charge of felony production of marijuana, Kelley said.
