1 injured in shooting at Petro-Mart

COLUMBIA — A 29-year-old man was in stable condition early Saturday morning after a shooting at a Columbia gas station.

At 2:08 a.m. Saturday, Columbia police were notified of a shooting at the Petro Mart gas station at 3300 Falling Leaf Lane, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.

The wounded man was being treated for gunshot wounds to the mouth at a local hospital.

Police are withholding the name of the man and the hospital at this time, the release said.

Any witnesses should contact the Columbia Police Department with information about the incident at 875-8477.
