Athena nightclub property listed for sale

COLUMBIA — The owners of Athena nightclub have placed the property, located at the corner of Hitt and Locust streets, on the market for lease or sale.

Plaza Real Estate agent Travis Kempf said Monday that the listing was placed last week and that the owners would rather lease than sell the property. Last week, the Missourian reported that the owners appealed Wednesday the revocation of their business licenses by the Columbia Business License Office.

Phone calls Monday to the owners’ attorney, Bogdan A. Susan, were not returned.
