Drugs seized at East Campus apartment

COLUMBIA — Columbia Police officers served a search warrant on Bass Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the seizure of about two pounds of marijuana. Smoking devices, a scale, marijuana packaged for sale and $5,200 in cash were also found in the apartment, a police news release said. Alan Wilkening, 47 and the only resident of the apartment, was arrested on of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and use or possession of drug paraphernalia, the release said.
