COLUMBIA — On Tuesday at approximately 7:37 p.m., Columbia Police Department officers served a narcotics-related search warrant at 3421 Squirrel Drive, Sgt. Brian Richenberger said.
Upon entering the residence, officers discovered seven adults, some of whom were actively using marijuana, as well as a 4-month-old infant in close proximity to the drug use, Richenberger said.
Officers located approximately 185 grams of marijuana in various locations in the residence, as well as marijuana pipes, a marijuana bong, scales and plastic bags for packaging.
Alex M. Onofrio was found to have about 68.50 grams of marijuana on his person, Richenberger said. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and the use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Alfonso D. Hayes was issued a municipal summons for possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana, and John A. Goodrick was arrested for second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, Richenberger said.
