GREENVIEW — A 63-year-old suburban St. Louis man is dead after drowning at Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Water Patrol says Ronald Lichtenberg of Florissant was last seen Thursday afternoon on the steps of a retaining wall in Camden County. About 15 minutes later, he was found in the water. A neighbor tried unsuccessfully to revive him.

Authorities aren’t sure how Lichtenberg ended up in the water.
