Work planned for I-70 between Stadium exit and Mo. River Bridge

COLUMBIA — The Missouri Department of Transportation will be doing maintenance on Interstate-70 starting Monday evening.

The westbound lanes of I-70 between the Stadium exit and the Missouri River Bridge will be resurfaced overnight, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

One westbound lane will be open to traffic.

The $2.6 million project, contracted out by MoDOT, covers a 9.4-mile section of the interstate.

The project is expected to be complete in the fall.
