COLUMBIA — Police are seeking three men in connection with an early Monday morning armed robbery in northwest Columbia, said Capt. Brad Nelson of the Columbia Police Department.
At 1:10 a.m., a 27-year-old Columbia man reported an armed robbery at 301 Tiger Lane, Apartment 203. The man said three men rang his doorbell and then forced their way into his home after he answered the door. The men displayed weapons, entered the apartment and struck the man in the head two times with a handgun. The suspects then ransacked the home, demanded money and drugs and threatened to shoot the man if he did not cooperate. He gave them his wallet and the suspects fled the home in an unknown direction. The man suffered minor cuts and bruises on his face and did not require medical attention.
The suspects were identified as being in their early 20s.
