COLUMBIA — Columbia police arrested a 25-year-old man on two felony counts of drug possession and one misdemeanor.

According to a department news release, police found 49 Ecstasy pills and approximately 255 grams of marijuana in an apartment in the 1600 block of Ashland Road on Friday around 5:15 p.m. while they were conducting a narcotics search. In addition to the drugs, officers said they found several digital scales along with $1,600 in cash.

Mark Willadsen, 25, who lives in the apartment, was alone at the time of the search, the release said. Willadsen is facing two felony charges: distribution of a controlled substance for Ecstasy and for marijuana and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
